South Africa, The Journal of Trade, Industry and Investment was founded by
David Altman, a South African born entrepreneur living in New York.
The magazine was originally published in South Africa and printed in the
U.S. with distribution internationally to policy makers and private sector
decision makers, quickly establishing itself as an important voice in
describing the new Post Apartheid South Africa.
Editorial coverage included
current affairs, political, socio-economic trends, trade, economic
conditions, corporate and investment strategies, development issues and
government policy. The magazine profiled business and political leaders and
was the first magazine about South Africa to be distributed globally,
winning several international awards for publishing excellence.
